2007 Camaro
Being a Camaro lover and past owner of (2), I was pretty pissed when GM decided to stop making my beloved F-body! But it looks as though GM has realized their mistake, and rumor has it, we might see a Camaro comeback by 2007! Now GM will call it the “F-Car” and I have also read that it will feature the new LS2 engine. GM usually detuned the F-Body so as not to compete with corvette sales, but I have read that in ‘07 this will not be the case. For all you Firebird lovers out there, you will only see the Camaro first, and if it takes off, you will see the Trans-Am follow. Any one that loves me, please start sending me money, so I can buy one the day they hit dealer showrooms lol. The pictures above are of the 2007 Camaro concept car.

I have to agree with Brett… here’s one for ya Dr. J. For-Old-Retired-Dutchmen.. Seriously though, I’m a huge Camaro fan, and while I personally think that the fourth generation F-body didn’t live up to the reputation set by the late 60’s early 70’s camaros, GM is doing an awesome job with this new F-car! Check out arkansascamaro.com for more sneak peak pics! Also a great article on the car at that site. The top engine in ‘07 will be a 400hp V8, the same as is in the Vette!! I must say tho that a guy can’t help but admire the mopars… old or new that’s definitely a close second to the maro… God bless

Brett… I don’t know how much you know… but I was just checking out Hot Rod magazine (COMEBACK, march 2006) and the date coming out of the Detroit show was for 2009… when is the car supposed to hit production for real??

gm won’t build this car for ‘07 or even’08. they don’t even have a platform for it. and if gm does build the car they will fuck it up like the last generation camaro. sure,the last gen was fast but that was it. build quality was shit as was interior room and usability. you gotta remember that there are only so many boy-racers that buy cars. just go but a mustang and get the complete package or wait for the challenger. if you wait for gm you’re going to be disappointed. and ford also stands for First On Race Day and Fucked Over Rebuilt Dodge.

Well i owned a 4th gen camaro (98), and although I can’t compare it to the mustang (I have only ridden in a 99 and a 91)…….it is much better than the cavalier I have now! lol. The challenger is looking sweet though! Thanks for the comment pushrodpower!

me and my father are on the same page as brett chevy all the way. one more thing and maybe u mustang guys can help me with this i live in florida and i always see camaros,firebirds,and corvettes driving on the road and i always see mustangs in parts in most people drive ways.first on race day bullshit more like first to be towed away on race day
