Myspace Div Overlays

I have been lurking in the shadows as Kristin and Derek develop and even release some pretty cool tagworld and myspace profiles. Now it is time to join the party! Derek has a series of div overlay tutorials that are worth checking out (scroll about half-way down the page to find them). I think I know enough to be dangerous and have decided to attempt a div overlay for a friend. If this person doesn’t want to use the overlay, then I will probably release it for everyone else to use.

Check out mymyspaceprofile.com for a collection of div overlay tutorial links

I am probably overlooking it but, I cant seem to find a solution to my comments box. Eveytime someone tries to leave a comment, it says that they have to be on my friends list. Any help?

I’ve tried changing the value to my Id (21714474) but that didnt work either.

Caleb, that is a myspace thing. I don’t think there is a way around it. A user must be a friend before they can leave a comment.

yeah same thing happens to me, my friends cant use my comment box and it tells them that they must be a friend even thought they already are?

That happened to mine before too…At first, it didnt work at all…but if began to work when i recopied the code, but stopped working again…. then i got a new one from a different place, and that one worked…just make sure the code is right and complete, and if it still doesnt work, try another one

OMG….soo…..y’all pry shouldn’t be doing a DIV if you don’t know what the problem is there. You have to put your Friend ID number in. If you dont…then when someone tries to leave you a comment…the comment doesn’t know where it’s going because it doesn’t know who it belongs to.
